Flying V Leg Rest / Slip Strip STL

$1.99

I made a TPU Slip Strip - it's a leg rest for the Gibson Flying V, but it works as a generic slip strip or leg rest for any application, not just for guitar. I made this as a faithful recreation of the 1959 Flying V Leg Strip, or "slip strip". This is my version of the classic 'V' ridge pattern, not the rounded U shape. It might not be ridge to ridge identical but it is extremely close.

TPU is not a traditional 'rubber' material, making it a cost effective way to have a slip strip on your guitar. I also built a Leg Rest, a plastic piece contoured to the shape of your leg and the guitar that slots exactly into the ridges of the slip strip. I have no idea how many Flying V owners have 3D printers, but this is a problem I have that I needed to solve and I'm happy to share this with the 2 or 3 other Flying V and 3D printer owners. You guys are real.
