LINSLABS LAUNCHES

Massive shouts out to everyone that has visited and supported thus far! I’m processing all physical orders as fast as possible, the response has been super humbling. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns: linsdinner@gmail.com

Howdy, y’all! I’m Lins. I’m a freelance videographer working in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. I consider myself a digital designer, visual artist, lifelong musician, and a dropout embedded systems engineer. I am a tinkerer, a maker, and a nerd. I build things like Guitar Hero Controllers and Custom Keyboards, and I see a massive potential to utilize 3D printing & basic electronics to make some of our favorite games & everyday experiences even more engaging.

I’m launching LINSLABS - a way for me to share my passions in a way that benefits the communities that I love & am apart of. My goal is to provide an outlet of inspiration for those of us out there with huge imaginations.

I spent a month designing & printing my first real product, the Star Wars inspired Cantina Diorama Set for Black Series. The original scene has stuck with me for years, and it’s a dream of mine to have this. I am still in the process of building it out, please let me know what you think! I am offering the table, stools & tableware for FREE for everyone. I am not affiliated with Hasbro, Lucasfilm or Disney.

I am building out the entire Cantina in segments: The booths, the bar, and the entrance. The booth segment is 100% complete, including all the wall ornaments from the original scene, modeled to the best of my ability. My attention is bouncing between the entrance & the bar. As you can see in the pictures above, the bar is about 85% done. I need to design the tubes & vessels behind the bar. The entrance is currently behind at about 10% complete.

I will be releasing each module separately so I can focus on improving & updating the entire diorama in 3 segments. I am looking forward to any feedback so please let me know if you have any suggestions or critiques.

Lastly, I am soft-launching a small shop with a few physical 3D printed items, like a Halo Grenade Prop and Fallout Mini Nuke Container. Just a few fun things that I want to share with those who are interested. You can also check out some of my free 3D models, like the Squidward Glasses Tray. Yeah, don’t ask me why I made that. You can keep up with me via Instagram and YouTube, where I plan on publishing more content going in-depth on a few of my custom controllers.
